Borderlines divide, but simultaneously they are the contact points. Where something ends something else begins. The skin is our personal border, where the awareness of our body turns into perception of the world around us separating the inner from the outer, an “inner” and an “outer” variable, as it is impossible to overlook the inextricable relationship of our body with nature. The living body is nourished by nature and at the end of its life returns to it, it’s part of it, originating from it and it’s recycled by nature in a perpetual transformation process.
This project seeks to explore the points of contact, the points of transition of this conversion and the complementarity of these two worlds, as part of a larger cycle that includes them both.
